Computer picking up electromagnetic waves?

It's strange. It happened once before for a couple of minutes, and now for about 30 minutes. Earlier, I heard a deep-voiced man speaking (through a communication device) coming from my speakers. I could hardly understand, if not at all. Of course I turn the speakers off to solve the problem, but has anything this strange happened to you guys?

P.S. Electromagnetic waves > Radio waves.

Your speaker cables aren't properly shielded. Most speaker cables aren't.

Get some aluminum foil on it or move the computer.

This has happened to me before, I was hearing weird conversations but they were very low so I could barely hear them.

And at night it'll randomly make weird noises.
;D I might need new speakers.

Yeah, I've been surfin' the web and people resolved the situation by using duct tape. Although I'm not going to resort to this seeing how this only happened twice for only a short period of time.

We had an old phone that did that. It picked up a nearby AM Radio station playing this classic country music. D: Loud enough that it was hard to hear the other person too...

Haha, anyways I was stuck baffled for 30 minutes figuring out where the devil that noise came from. I was so paranoid I thought there was a communication device strapped inside my wall.

I'm under the impression that electromagnetic waves are harmful to your computer. I don't doubt that you're receiving interference from some communication device, but I don't think it's through EM.

Also, I heard I can solve your problem. *wraps self around your wires*

Well, I was being general by accident in the OP title, but I was meaning radio waves which is a type of frequency in an electromagnetic wave, if I'm correct. (according to wiki)
