I really think it's dumb when people limit themselves to listen to only one genre

Neither of us listen to just one genre, these are just our top. I could post a poll with classic rock, hip-hop, trance, country, jazz, heavy metal, blues, reggae, punk, easy listening, alternative, pop, R&B, classical, cultural, folk, and any other genres everyone would like to be in the running....

both desicions are precisley innacurate, because I like Dnb, Breakbeat, etc.
But if I had to choose, I would pick Classic rock, KanYe west and Chris Brown both suck.

I prefer the new rock. And actually I prefer heavy metal over that. Along with trance.
But compared to that un-educated MySpace loser prep atrocity? Classic rock all the way

I'm not saying that either of them is BETTER, just more popular: which one more people listen to.

They both suck.

But hip hop sucks more so classic rock wins.

Why is this turning into something about how people can't have one taste in genre. You can, really. It's just taste. However, this poll is a little unfair, as classic rock is clearly better.

I guess you can say it's 'just taste' but I think it's weird to have just ONE genre...it would get old.

I'd listen to classic rock any day and I'd rather rip off my ears than listen to today's hip-hop because it's all the same nowadays!

I personally listen to Euro-Trance and Hardstyle but I have recently listened to a bit of the new KanYe west album and I do have to say it is good. I am usually the first to say RAP more people talking to a lame beat about stupid things but the new KanYe actually has TONE and MELODY. These elements is what makes or breaks a song for me and KanYe can do this better than others but his music is still a bit slow for my taste. Other RAP I've heard is trash IMO and rock is so generic these days. Only rock band I like is Billy Talent but I can't stand the singer so I will never listen to them again. Other rock is very generic and bland, I find they make a new sub-genre for rock anytime another song sounds different from the others. I can't even differentiate between Nickleback's songs at all.

btw I'm not voting as I would rather listen to rock than most Hip-Hop but KanYe is like...the only good thing Hip-Hop as going for it IMO.

Nickleback isn't classic rock so it doesn't count. None of today's rock is differentiatable...(I like making up words, no laughing at me) Rise Against, Nickelback, Brand New. They all sound the same. Secondhand Serenade is the worst in variety though. I'm about to throw my sisters stereo out the window.
