                      It's the day the Decleration of Independence was signed... we celebrate it on the 4th but it didn't actually happen then, it happend on the 2nd or 3rd. Not sure which.

                                          July 1, 1867 was when the British North America Act was signed, making Canada a country. Canada Day is the anniversary of it.

                                              Happy Canada Day to you people in the east... 45 minutes left until it's Canada Day here. Going to the Canada Day festivities in the park damn near all day as far as I can tell. =)
