The 2nd one was more interesting, but the first one was more factual. I liked the second one better because it kinda told you what happens after you get pulled over/convicted.

Haha it wasn't exactly a what question it was more of a why question.

Because it will screw you any way you cut it.

EDIT: What do you think a cop would do if after pulling you over and they ask you "Do you know how fast you were going?" and you respond "I plead the 5th."?

The man has an impressive talent for speaking fast. Very much worth my time. I do think I could have gotten away with only watching the first one though.

Pretty sure it only applies when you're being questioned as a suspect in a crime more serious than speeding.

I thought it applied at any time. The only difference in that situation is that if you "plead the 5th" then he can probably take you to the police station and make you wait while your lawyer appears etc etc. Very time consuming for you so I doubt many would do that.

No if you plead the fifth when they ask how fast you're going they'll give you the ticket, and you either pay it or go to court like always.

You can plead the fifth in traffic court but it won't work.

Would it be wise then to tell the police 'I have the right to remain silent.' if you get pulled over for speeding? or would you just be honest about speeding so that they have the evidence of your confession?

I know you'd still get a ticket either way.

Re: Don't talk to the Police

Forgive me if I am wrong, but isn't there a law that says if you are withholding evidence, they can arrest you for that?

I feel bad for those who are mentally ill that are being fed scenarios and evidence.

Oh, and I failed that quiz.
I picked 3 because he said 3 people were found murdered. I totally skipped over the 'shot' part.

                          Thanks for sharing this video.

                          I watched both parts.

                          Very insightful.

The Fifth Amendment protects witnesses from being forced to incriminate themselves. To "plead the Fifth" is a refusal to answer a question because the response could form self-incriminating evidence. - Wikipedia.

The Fifth Amendment overpowers withholding evidence. In fact, the only way they can prove you were willingly withholding evidence is if they ask you if you are.

By the way, if the cops are asking you questions, you've probably already been arrested.

I officially love the Fifth Amendment.

Perhaps not every law is cause for concern.
