One thing I've notice in the FFR forum discussions, is that they normally lead into arguments =/ Am I the only one who seems to notice this? Is it really so hard to come together and discuss/debate peacefully about something, without anger evolving?

Re: Arguments in the Forum Domain
Well, people sometimes tend to get mad when someone posts an idiotic topic or makes a dumb post. I'm not saying you did, but just saying. We are the music makers and we are the dreamers of dreams.Originally posted by Choofers2/10 smoke weed every other day, what up den

Re: Arguments in the Forum Domain
I notice that alot as well, but alot of times people aren't really like "fighting". People just want their voices heard, and often being extremely sarcastic/rude/abnoxious is the best way to do it. Especially over the internet...Comment

I understand the whole thing with getting one's messege though and all, but you can get it through without it getting out of hand. =/ Don't get me wrong, I'm all for debate and such. But what I mean is (in this thread), it doesn't have to lead into aggression, such as insults and name calling and so forth. I know the world holds...."difficult" people. e.0 Both offline, and online....

Re: Arguments in the Forum Domain
when you have thousands of teenagers (mostly boys) together on a forum with minimal potential punishment for flaming/trolling (few days ban initially... does get worse with multiple offenses). well, basically, it's the internet. it's what happens when you give people anonymity.
we do what we can to keep it to a minimum, but to rid it altogether is an unrealistic expectation and would drive away more users than the current system does.RIPComment
