    Girl dies months after disembowelment in pool

    I was checking out CNN.com to see more in-depth bitching about celeb deaths, and I came across this headline. I clicked on it. The following is not for the squeamish: the girl jumped into the pool, the pool suction cap was off, and her intestines were partially sucked out. She went to the hospital, and underwent an organ transplant. In few cases, organ removals of all types (in this case the pool) can lead to a very cancerous side effect of which i do not know the name of. SON OF A BITCH PARENT WASNT CAREFUL!

              Months, years, whatever.

              My mom always used to warn me to stay away from the drains in pools for this reason.

                                          In certain pools, yes. You really shouldn't swim near them. If they're not properly maintained they actually have a higher suction than ones that are cleaned.

                                                          I didn't see where she would have sustained enough injury to have that happen.
