Today I got my arm x-rayed. I landed on my arm while skateboarding, and my arm has been sore, but didn't hurt extremely. The nurse at the urgent care center said that I have a kind of fracture called the "greenstick" fracture. This fracture resembles a branch: take a green branch and bend it. It doesn't break. Well, that's what happened to my arm. The bone is bent, but it didn't break.

Now I have to wear a splint and brace (I'm not right now because it severely slows down my typing). It doesn't really hurt; in fact, I spent 2 days at school without knowing about it (I even played at a 1 1/2 hour long orchestra rehearsal, but I think I aggravated it). The worst thing is, it takes a couple of weeks to heal, and I have an orchestra concert next week! This one is special because the conducter hired professional recorders to make a CD of the concert (we get to play Pirates of the Carribean! fun piece). But since I play the double bass, I can't use my hand for playing the notes on the fingerboard.
Point is, my hand is fractured, but doesn't hurt, so now I can't do certain things.
If you read all of that, then gimme some feedback. I like to stuff my stories with all kinds of goodies (
