    Help on video cards

Ok, I want a new computer. Badly. This one sucks. So I've been looking around, and they are too pricey for me. So, I decided i want to build my own, which will lower the price a lot. I have found all the parts i want, but i need help on a video card. Any suggestions for a card that is in the $75-$150 price range? It doesn't need to be very powerful, I don't do a lot of gaming outside of Stepmania.

    Btw, here's the motherboard.

go for an AGP 8x Radeon card. Don't know exactly which one would fit your price range, but if you look around for Radeon's you should find a good price.
www.pricegrabber.com is a pretty good site for comparing prices.

i dont think any 8x cards are under $150...if you can find a 9800 pro or 9700 pro for $150 you should buy that...those are only that cheap on ebay though...i got my 9700 pro with a new heatsink and fan about half a year ago for $200 so im almost certain you could find one for $150

          GeForce 4 Ti 4200

anything in a newer generation for really cheap will be fine if you don't game.

edit: if you don't game, you don't need to spend more than $60 to get a "good" video card.

seriously, if you don't game on next-gen games, you really don't need to spend over $100 at all. For $50 you could find something that would more than perform to your needs.

It's not outdated at all unless you want to play DX9 games, which he says he doesn't.

                          A P4 3.2 Ghz w/ hyper threading technology processor is $950. And it's a featured item.

                          Low priced, surrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrre.

actually if that's the P4 EE then that's not a bad price. retail is $999.

I just found this card. It's absolutely perfect for what i want, 64 MB and good chipset for $46. I'm buying it.
