There are ways to tell if someone is yankin' your chain or not. Technically, someone you meet in the real world could be a rapist, and you not know until they've been invited over and you get raped.

Personally, the best relationships I have are through the internet. I've met people that I click with, that think somewhat like me, that have similar interests, and similar passions. I've spent my entire life looking for people like there in town, but have yet to find any.

Also, my cousin married someone he met through the internet. His first marriage was to someone he knew IRL, and that went horribly wrong. I think he's been married about 5 years now to this girl from Scotland, and it's obvious they love and care for each other.

I'm desperate now? My Boyfriend and I met eachother online- we've been together for 10 months and recently last december he came to visit me.
It's not like I chose for it to be long distance, but I truely love him- so why should it make a difference? I don't think distance should ever stop anyone.

Rock on, Daynie. I personally think that distance shouldn't be a factor to keep people apart, if you're sincere about your feelings then you can't help but feel that way. I give props to people that can maintain long distance relationships, well more like admire. Seems like people in those kinda situations are the more serious ones, so to me it's like a plus to be with a person that's been through that. o.o

I saw Megan on DDRSA before I knew who she was (DDR San Antonio, local website for people who play ddr... in San Antonio, but no one really uses it for talking about DDR anymore, the DDR portion of it is near dead) and we arranged to meet up at Ingram mall and now we couldn't be happier together.

Generally I'm not in the same boat as people with LONG LONG distance relationships as we're about an hour away, but we both basically fell for eachother for the characteristics of eachother and not what we looked like, which is always the type of relationship I've wanted to have.

I bet a fun thing would be to go way back in time to where there was going to be an eclipse and tell the cave men, "If I have come to destroy you, may the sun be blotted out from the sky." Just then the eclipse would start, and they'd probably try to kill you or something, but then you could explain about the rotation of the moon and all, and everyone would get a good laugh.
