Instant loading webpages anyone?

Install the file, tools-->addons-->extensions-->fasterfox/enable/options/turbocharged

Very happy to stumble upon this. Also shows webpage load times in the bottom right

I think it has to do with a top to bottom rendering system versus a more efficient system. Certain things are more important to the page and should probably be rendered first, but normally, the browser starts at the top and works its way down.

I imagine it has something to do with things like that.

EDIT: chekcing it out... actually, it seems like the way it works MOSTLY is that it starts downloading links before you even click them so that they're ready when you finally do.

Yes, but the problem with that is that if you have a bandwidth limit, you might end up paying extra fee at the end of the month...
