I am in need of advice. Most people I know tell me not to use FFR as a source of advice, but you're all I've got. So...

My question is this.
I have black hair with blond tips (not tips as much as 2 inches of my hair from the bottom up). Now, the blond part of my hair is kinda dying and being all horrible, so I need to cut it. My hair right now is pretty long, but without the blonde, it will be a little longer than shoulder length.

Do you guys have any styling and /or haircut tips for me?

this is all I could find. I dyed the top part of my hair from blonde to black. Now about 2 inches of the blonde is left at the bottom.

mm lets see dye your hair orange and red then get a Mohawk. Hahah you will then be mistaken as a bomb pop

problem with that:
I'm not allowed to dye my hair for a while. The reason I'm cutting it is because I need to get rid of the part that's dying, the blonde.

well like I said, it depends if u kno what you'll look like with short hair, plus there are other things u cud do with ur hair when its shoulder length.

Definitely cut it off. It makes it look unhealthy. Also, refrain from consistently dying your hair. If you don't get it professionally done or space it out enough, your hair will get really damaged and dead. (See: Britney Spears) Use a decent shampoo and conditioner. Replace your daily conditioner with a deep conditioner (you can find this in the drug store) once a week.

Go to a decent salon, have them do a color correction, and fix it up. If you're worried about length, ask them to give you layers in your hair because they make your hair look longer.

Definitely get rid of, at least, the tips. That two-toned thing sounds really unattractive.

It's unfortunate that you dyed your light hair black, because correcting that can be really devastating to your hair, but if you want to keep the black, just make sure you don't let your roots grow out to a noticeable length -- it's hideous.

As for the cut, go to Wal-Mart, head to the magazine section, and grab one of the many hairstyles magazines. Find three or four similar styles that you think might complement your facial structure, and take the magazine to a GOOD salon.
