Underoath doesn't suck. I love there music and I probably still would if I wasn't Christian (some of my friends like them but they're not Christians). The Almost on the other hand...
been there, done that, and people keep trying to say differently. haha.. underoath = love.
the almost [as previously mentioned] isnt so bad either
I actually used the ... to show I don't really like them lol. Aaron's cool and a good singer but besides Say this Sooner his/there cd doesn't have many good songs.
P.S. Underoath shows that Christians can rock hard too.
Underoath isn't metalcore you $hitards. It's emocore/post-hardcore/pop-punk.
Metalcore = Unearth, Parkway Drive, As I Lay Dying, Silent Civilian, It Dies Today, etc.. A lot of Metalcore is good, very little post-hardcore is good. Yesterdays Rising is an example good post-hardcore.
So many bands are Christian these days it's ****ing ridiculous.
If a band is good enough nobody will care what genre is pasted on it.

Reason: can't say that for christian bands. :S

That made me laugh. But yes, they're not metalcore. They're emocore/post-hardcore/screamo. Compare Underoath to real pop-punk bands like Fall Out Boy and you'll see a huge difference, but compare real metalcore bands like Unearth and As I Lay Dying (which are actually decent band) and you'll still see a huge difference. And what's wrong with bands singing about what they believe in?
