honestly...if this was a NORMAL person then they would go to jail for the full sentence. Just because paris hilton gives away her body doesnt mean anything...i think this is total b.s and she should get the full sentence...and im glad Sarah Silverman said those things at the MTV Movie Awards

What you're all overlooking is how inherently awesome all this is. If you got away with something like this, you'd be damn proud of it and brag about it to all your friends. It's awesome to be able to slip through the cracks of the legal system and make a farce of the whole thing. I don't like Paris Hilton as a person, but that doesn't mean she isn't the perfect picture of how I wish I could live life.

Also apperantly she was let out for "medical" reasons including crying and depression.

From what I've heard, her medical condition was a case of severe rash. GIVE ME A BREAK!

And lol at her return to jail. She claimed that her re-sentence to jail was "unfair and unjust". Cry on.

Hey, screw you guys, Paris Hilton is my idol. Anyone who can take a gigantic dump on the american legal system in this many ways and still have a metric-ton of money is awesome. She's getting a million dollars for her memoirs of the time spent in jail. A million dollars. She's getting paid more then many people see in their lifetime to sit in jail and scribble notes. hes right....i mean think about it...drinking and driving is a bad thing to start out with...then when you get DWI about 3-5 times that makes it even worse...then when your on probation and you get DWI again...that makes it even worse. think about it...if that was a random person (white,black,hispanic,chinese,etc.) and they did the same thing she did...they would get the full sentence without a question. Also, think about the lives she could of took. She got lucky she didnt hurt anyone those times she was Drinking and driving. It could of been your brother,cousin,friend, or anyone in your family that could of been killed from someine like that.

You're completely avoiding mead's point. Would you opt to go to jail for 2 months or 2 days? I completely agree with mead on the fact that she is a complete badass for being rich and skipping out on jail.

Yeah yeah drinking and driving is bad. DRUGZ R BADDDD. But getting away with it is so awesome.

Paris Hilton is what we should all strive to be. Everybody wants to be rich and above the law, rich as ****, and decent looking. Paris Hilton has achieved these. If you dislike her, it's probably because you're actually jealous, knowing you'll never climb that high.

I don't see anything to be the least bit 'envious' of than the fact that her parents have money in their pockets.

I really think that she has a hard time thinking on her own. The 3-5 DWI's in addition to the fact that she was crying for her parents when she got thrown back in jail.

EDIT: also many ppl can "climb that high"...just do well in school and you can become a doctor or a dentist. And some of us dont depend on our parents to live...when you only have 1 ull no wat im saying
