The smoking ban is for ALL inside and public places including pubs and such.

You can smoke outside and in your house.

Really it's the way it should be. I choke on smoke so it's pretty annoying when you got a bunch of smokers stopping you doing whats needed to be done.

They should be fine smoking in their own homes and outside. Although if everyone cared about what others felt it wouldn't be needed.

You are not going to get any non bias replys with this though. You either smoke or you don't. You can't be inbetween.

Where I live there isn't any smoke ban, except restaurants, lol. I don't mind it, doesn't make a difference to me. Smoking is a good way to waste money. Oh, waste money to make your life shorter. Awesome.

I'm with Guido: Would be really really nice for me even though I oppose it.

Public space is not public property and it should be noted as such; therefore it should be up to the owner to decide whether those who smoke should be allowed to smoke there or not without being thrown out.

Smoking has worked out pretty well for me.

I mean, every time I walk by someone smoking, I hold my breath. My lungs have gotten stronger because of smoking.

I don't do it, I really don't care. A lot of my friends smoke so I'm around it regardless. It doesn't bother me and it has gotten to the point where I don't notice it.

they should ban smoking in front of school entrances. i have to walk through it every morning although i do hold my breath. theres another entrance but its on the other side of the school. for now ill just stick to holding my breath.

there are no smoking bans where i live. only in facilities that have a sign that says "No Smoking" are where it is banned. anywhere else is completely fine

I don't think there should be a ban on it...I just pubs and privately owned places should be in control over what they allow. But I have no problem with people who smoke outdoors.

nope the smoking ban is only in the public places and starts on the 1st of July i know in the uk that Scotland and whales and Ireland there is already a ban in public places although now people who work and the work had smoking rooms they are not allowed to be there witch i think is a bit unfair on them i think in actually public places the ban should be there but i do think there should also be smoking areas as well

Smoking here has been banned for months in all indoor public areas, all workplaces and all outdoor eating/drinking establishments. I think it's the toughest ban in Canada...I love it XD

Yeah, it's been banned here forever. I don't really care though.
