        It was just about a month ago when the gas prices here were hovering around $2.20 again... and then they got jacked up to all hell again...

                        Wikipedia says, "Total world production/consumption (as of 2005) is approximately 84 million barrels per day."

                        The US consumes the most in the world, even far more than china, which is in second place (also with a pop of over a billion...)

                                Underrated post alert. That's one reason why being in the Maritimes isn't good.

                                After conversion, gas here works out to just over $4.00 a gallon. I don't know what the exchange rate is at the moment, but the Canadians are clearly getting even more ripped off, especially since a lot of the oil is coming from Alberta in the first place.

                                    NE Mass - I filled up today and it was $2.89. It's always about 5-10 cents cheaper at a Cumbie's in a New Hampshire mall, but I didn't feel like driving an extra 5 minutes.

                                            I'm so glad I hardly go anywhere, since if I could drive I wouldn't anyway.

                                                    I spend about $50-$60 every week- week and a half and you won't hear me complain.

                                                    If you can't afford gas then maybe you shouldn't drive a vehicle............
