I DID read the whole thread. Don't assume things. I stand by my opinion nonetheless. It's still a bad drawing. I drew like that when I was ten. I mean, I guess since it was your first time I could cut you some slack, but even my first anime character drawing was at least a LITTLE better than that. I know we have different capabilities, but it's only my opinion.

Perhaps you draw other things well though, so I won't say you're a bad artist. I'm just saying that your anime drawings need to improve.

Well, you have looked at 'Learn to Draw Manga' books before.

Nice edit. By the way, no I haven't looked at 'Learn to Draw Manga' books before. I can't stand learning how to do things by the book. I just draw my own way, and it ends up working pretty nicely.

Do you mind sending me a link to your other drawings though? Maybe I haven't judged your capability well, and maybe it IS a good first attempt for you.

I meant THOSE drawings. I'm not stupid, I know what I'm typing and I know what you typed. And I didn't act like I learned from "How To Draw" books, I was just suggesting them because they're what OTHER people use to learn.

Looks better than my first try. Mine had eyes the size of planets and the flattest scalp you had ever seen. I don't have it any more because I drew it like 4 years ago.

Tuggz, when she referred to your previous drawings, it was because you said you had some in the quote she posted. ^^; I'm not sure what else you were thinking she meant.

That said, I also don't think it's right to discourage people unless they really deserve it. I've seen plenty of irritating anime art, but I wouldn't say this is one of them. It just looks like a genuine attempt to me. He didn't brag about it, so no need to try to show him how it's amateur.

I don't really know where I'm going with this, but I just don't like seeing people get on each others' cases for no good reason :/

Keep practicing, don't kill each other, jesus, dinosaurs etc.

How about this? Either he was born without eye lids, or he was in a fire last year that burned all of is hair off, so know he has no eye brows and has to wear a wig? There, he has a story for himself now.
