Wait. Why are you trying to go from ethernet to dial-up now, when you said that your laptop has a dial-up port?
To go from ethernet to dial-up the connection would need to pass through a router.

No No no, never minndd!
I was meaning like, some people said that the idea of mine wont work.
So I was wondering, could I just buy one of those cords, and then Plug the Dialup part into a Dreamcast, and plug the ethernet part into my router.

Would that work?

Or get an enlargement. Like an extension cable. Or move the devices you want to connect closer together.
