Re: Happy Slaughter Day
ya i think kilin thin 2 surviev sux 2
Because living is bad. And killing animals for nourishment sucks.
Because we should let all the animals reproduce forever and ever until they're overpopulating the world and then we have to kill them for survival and not eating.
IS THAT WHAT YOU WANT?!Comment

Re: Happy Slaughter Day
Oh my god ***. thats what people like you say to all vegetarians like me. read the ****ing bible bitch. it says only animals of split hoof are to be eaten. and if you don't believe in god then animals were not given a life set purpose! The animals that you eat are being bred for the sole intention of being consumed. they are born, kept in cages and tied down their entire lives so that they are tender and then slaughtered. technically thats torture, which im guessing you are ok with. im ok if you eat meat man, but dont ****ing say that. dont ever say that to a vegetarian retard.Comment

Turkey Day.
ps. Vegetarians gtfo. I just ate a nice big piece of steak. Oh and I had ribs earlier, oh and the other day I had salmon. I wash myself with pieces of calf fat, then I consume it. I don't drink water, I drink gravy mixed with blood and grease of the spawn of thousands of generations of animals.

Re: Happy Slaughter Day
^ Rotfl at jewpin.
Ps. Why would it be called Happy Turkey Day..? =/
First of all, why would a turkey be happy if he's being EATEN? And second, do they even have feelings?
I dunno, the name just sounds silly to me.

Re: Happy Slaughter Day
So.. you're taking a national holiday in which the slaughter was stopped so that the Indians and Pilgrims could eat together, and you're calling it Slaughter Day? Do I sense someone forgetting the true meaning of Thanksgiving? Like.. the THANKS part?Comment

Re: Happy Slaughter Day
Haha.
You have no idea about the origins of Thanksgiving.
And by the way: I don't like the idea of eating animals either, but refusing to eat them does more harm than good. The companies will still kill the same numbers of animals whether or not you eat them. The only way a vegetarian could have an effect on the killing of animals for food would be to convert the majority of the population to vegetarian, which, frankly, isn't going to happen.

Re: Happy Slaughter Day
Turkey is usually pretty much the only meat of the entire meal (at least in my community). It only makes up a small portion, actually, when compared to the immense amount of vegetables and other various food items. Saying that we kill turkeys so that we can pig out is wrong. We pig out on all of the other vegetables as well. If we just had turkey it would be a very small meal, dependent of how much you take. If we only had veggies, we'd still be pigging out.
We are also driven to eat both meat and vegetables by our instinct. Why else is it so hard for some people to become vegetarians? Their bodies know it's not normal. I personally do not like the idea of killing another living thing for food, but my body tells me it's fine, so I go with it. It's mainly a matter of what you want over what you need. Just do whichever you feel like.
My answer would be "Thanksgiving", because that is simply what it is. Giving thanks. Pretty much everyone I know believes in giving thanks on Thanksgiving...so It kind of makes sense.
Not to mention many animals would get slaughtered still whether it was Thanksgiving or not.Comment
