My point of the post was that the Thanks part is what people should look at. Not the turkey symbol that Thanksgiving is seen as now.

Second Monday of October is Turkey Day in Canada. I just don't like to refer to Thanksgiving as Turkey Day but I guess everyone else does.

I'm strictly a carnivore. The poor veggies that are being eaten on Thanksgiving have feelings too. They are being torn outta the ground, ripped away from their family & friends, boiled, and then chewed on by humans! And on top of all that there are people who will eat ONLY vegetables and all they care about is the animals!! How inconsiderate. I prefer to call it "Vegetable Cruelty Day" could we please make that an option in the poll?

I hate vegetarianism with all my heart. It doesn't make sense that you'd rather go on the side of other animals then our own race. Yes, we're on top of the food chain. No, we do not need to be considerate of it. Why? We need meat to live. It's a natural instinct.
