Ok this is for all of you who play any instruments. I would like to know who does and who doesn't play any kind of musical instrument. If you do may you post what it is and (optional) when you started playing, how good are you on a 1-10 scale. 1 being you just started like 5 seconds ago and don't even know how to pronounce its name. 10 being like beethoven the deaf composer, Zakk Wylde, Steve Vai, Randy Rhoades, Kirk Hammet, Or John Puttrucci(I dont think its spelled right) good. Also a ten would be that you have been playing for years and could play something just by listening to it once.


I play an instrument. The guitar(electric). And I would rate myself about a 4 or five. I have been playing for about 2 years. My 2 year annivery of playing will be here on Exactly 2:08 pm on November 30th.

I played the piano for eight years beginning at the age to seven. I'd rate myself a 4 on your scale since I haven't played in five years. I still mess around on the synthesizer, but it doesn't demand the same skill.

I also played the trumpet for four years beginning at the age of thirteen. Again, I'd say I'm about a 4. I'm still able to reach most of the notes I was able to reach when I played everyday, and my tone is still good, but after about twenty minutes or so my lips give out.

I also own a french horn, mandolin, banjo, and guitar but my knowledge of those instruments is severly limited and I would rate myself a 2 on each one.

I played the violin for a good 4 years. However, haven't played it in a LONG time. I'd say i am a 5.

I played the piano since i was 6 then stopped at age 9 and just a couple of years ago started to practice again and I would say i'm a 5.

The insturment that i played for awhile now since the age of 11 is the classical guitar. I'd say i'm a 7 because I haven't accomplished anything other than playing that particular guitar kind (classical/acoustic).

i play Alto Saxophone, been playing for 3 and a half years. Id rate me about 5-6ish. maybe 7 pushing it when i really try.

I play the Viola and the Guitar.

Been playing the Viola for 4 years, I'd rate myself about a 5.

I've been playing the Guitar for about 4 months, and I'd rate myself a 2 or 2.5.

I had played the trumpet for 4 years. I was probably about a 6 or 7. First trumpet. Not THAT good, but I was one of the best in my school.

I started to play the piano when I was like 8 or so, stopped when I was uhh...13. It was kind of off and on. I can play one song, but it's a fairly advanced song I guess. People think it's weird that I can play that song extremely well and I can't play anything else hahaha. I guess i'm about a 6 on the piano. I can read music and everything.

I play the guitar. 3 years right now. It will be 4 on Christmas. I don't really know how to rate myself...

I play piano and I rate myself a 7-8, I can I can listen to a song on a show or movie and replay it after about 3 tries so....7-8.
