    Re: When You Get Fired...

Hmmm...and I thought some of the things I did on public access were bad...

Unfortunately, it seems like you're the victim of an FFC "flip-out" moment. But as others have said, I don't think this would completely hinder you from getting other jobs in your field. I would have to believe you worked for an affiliate. So, while word spreading of what happened might make it more difficult for you to get an affiliate job where you live, an out-of-town affiliate might be easier for you to get into.

I would try approaching the studio you were fired from though. They'll probably just brush you off, but you never know.

            Question: why "you" and "urself"?

Why not be consistent? Why not "u" and "urself" or "you" and "yourself"?

            You're confusing. GTFO.

Question: Why point out 1 of the 293847239487^2 noobs in this forum instead of going on with the topic?

Anyway, CBS pretty much fired you out of obligation. If people called in (and they most likely did) to complain, your boss would have to give some sort of explanation and tell them that you've been dealt with in some way. They didn't have much of a choice.

I don't think this would really hinder your chances of finding another job in your field though. CBS can't release info about why you were dismissed anyway. So just try looking for a job and see what happens.
