Hey FFR, i need your help.
I got fired today. This is in no way shape or form any BS. I worked for CBS (the CBS news channel), and the affiliate i work at has a contract to do the news for the Fox station as well, because we have a good studio. I know that sounds wierd, but bear with me
Last friday, a bunch of things went wrong. I usually work graphics design, but they had me run cameras that day because someone didn't show up. Then an audio operator didn't show up so they had someone that normally works cameras working the audio.
Well during the middle of a show, a tape we were playing ran out early and we went to black. Someone on headsets asked what happened and i (whispered) "The tape just ****ed up" to let them know. Well apparently the audio op freaked out when we went to black, and panic'd and turned on the mic's in the studio i was in. So as we went to black, no other sound was being played, other than my voice, airing over national broadcast television, going "The tape just ****ed up".
I got the call today. My employment with CBS has been terminated...
So, what do I do, ffr? Be happy because I'm one of the small percentage of people who can say they've cursed on national broadcast television, or be depressed because I lost an awesome job?
=\
