Well, i should've mentioned this, but we've been like casually dating for a few months now. We already look and act like a couple, just haven't really tied the knot so to speak. By that I mean we've already gone on dates, met the parents, did the whole movie/cuddle thing, and i just came back from her house where we sat on her couch and she layed her legs across my lap and we sat and held hands and just talked about life. She constantly misses me every moment of the day, and i do as well...So this isn't like I just met her and want to get to know her. It's basically a situation where we just want to like make it an official relationship, with a set date and everything. You know what i mean.

I decided to go with the flower approach today.

So this is all for the sake of it being "official"? I don't think asking her out now will change much. I think you were going the right way anyway. That much is obvious. I guess it can't hurt though and saying "it can't hurt" when talking about love is quite daring but I think you already swayed her. Hope everything goes well for you. The whole flowers thing is old fashioned but it still has charm I think.

You said that she already likes you. So you really don't have to be all that nervous. Just ask her to get something to eat after school or something. If she really does like you, I think she'll be happy that you did indeed ask her to hang out, and even more happy to be her girlfriend. Don't make it too over the top just to ask her out.

Well, heres how it all turned out today.

After my study hall period (5th period), I have lunch right after (6th) and she of course has my lunch and all. And since we're seniors, we're allowed to go off campus and eat or whatnot. Anyway, right after lunch, my friend that i usually go to lunch with and I went straight to the local flower store to pick up a dozen red roses...I was a bit nervous at the time cause the girl (erika) kept calling me asking me where I was at, and i had to lie to her by telling her I was at my house getting something for a class. Anyway, she was with our lunch-gang friends at What-a-burger, some fast food joint by our school. So I stored the flowers in the back seat of my ranger truck, and went inside to eat with her. As we left the place to head back to school, she got in my truck and she buckeld herself in and whatnot...and i started my little speech...something along the lines of:

"Before we go back, there's something I want to tell you...I didn't go home before this, I actually went to get you something special to show you how much i care about you (busted out the flowers here)...I got these for you to show you how much you mean to me, and that you are a special person in my life (by now she was teary eyed)...And i wanted today to be the day that you officially became my girlfriend..." Before I could even finish my sentence she was already nodding her head yes with a smile and eyes teared up. Then she gave me a hug and told me she loved me, and just as we pulled away from the hug, we had our first kiss right then and there, and it lasted a good 30 seconds or so. Basically, it was a great day and i pulled it off pretty well. All the girls were jealous when we got back to our school parking lot and saw her walk out with these hug red dozen roses...
