"Become addicted to a MMORPG (massive multiplayer online role-playing game) like runescape, guild wars, or world of warcraft. Alternatively you could become hopelessly addicted to any one of the numerous Bemani music games such as Dance Dance Revolution, Beatmania IIDX, Para Para Paradise or Pop'n Music! Only play these during your free time."

Re: How to Be a Lazy College Student.
No it isn't what are you talking about.
I've told anyone who will listen how unimportant it is to go to class, pay attention, buy college textbooks, etc. You should know everything already.
I went to three out of 50-60 Astronomy classes last year. Three. The first three, because they were required for attendance purposes. I never went again. I passed with a B-.
There are many many examples like this. It's fun not going to class. You can sleep in and do more important things.
But don't skip classes in your first term of Freshman year. That's just stupid.Comment

Re: How to Be a Lazy College Student.
I only skipped 1 class my entire freshman year (last year), and that was only because I found out that I didn't have to take the Final. Some of my classes I guess I could have skipped and still gotten at least a B, but I just don't like skipping class. I think I still have the high school mindset that skipping class is so bad, but I don't think I'll skip too many, if at all, next year.Originally posted by SqueekNo it isn't what are you talking about.

I had a lot of math classes, and I got homework an average of 3 times a week, so skipping any of my math classes wasn't really an option.
There are some classes that you can skip, but I would say you should still go to the class. I had a max. of 3 classes in a day, so there isn't really an excuse to not go.The secret to your future lies hidden in your daily routine.
The reason most people fail instead of succeed is that they trade what they want most for what they want at the moment.

I had 3-6 classes daily and agree. If you skip a class, it can make homework more time-consuming. As it was, last year I was in either lecture/the library from 9 am to 7 pm every day without missing anything. It was like constant homework. If you want a 4.0, you need to TAKE LECTURES SERIOUSLY. It's YOUR future.Comment

Re: How to Be a Lazy College Student.
Not really. If I do my homework for my math classes, not only will I understand it that day, if I don't understand something, I can just ask the teacher about it. I hate not understanding multiple sections in math. Math is a class that you can't really cram the night before, and still get an A in.Originally posted by SqueekHOMEWORK?!
You're doing something wrong.
Plus the homework was 5 points each. Which ended up being about 20% of the grade. If you do all the homework, come grading time, your prof. will probably bump up your grade if you did do all of the homework. The secret to your future lies hidden in your daily routine.

Re: How to Be a Lazy College Student.
It's not usually required homework. Sometimes it can be a good idea to work through sample problems and stuff like that.Comment
