I never went to Calculus (except for exams and such) because they never took attendance. However, all my other classes were, and will continue to be small, attendance-taking classes, with the exception of my psych and sociology requirements.

Classes that take attendance suck.

@Squeek: you must not be an engineering or math major, because homework in those classes are the most important tool to learn the material.

Also, it's distinctly harder to teach yourself Advanced Thermodynamics or Cal IV than to hear it from a professor, so going to class is pretty necessary (especially in the AdThermo class, where classes were three hours long).
