So... I went away from my computer to shower, and when I came back, it kept flashing this message:
For Realtek RTL8110S/8116 (I do not remember the numbers exactly) PCI Fast Ethernet Controller
PXE-E61: Media test failure, check cable
PXE-M0F: Exiting PXE ROM
and there was a sound coming from it that sounded similar to a die being rolled.
I checked google on how to fix it, and it said something about going into BIOS and changing the boot order. I have no idea how to do that. I can get into safe mode. I could use some step by step assistance from there. And I'd rather not have a laptop than reformat it. My new desktop is due in any day, and I NEED the 40+ gigs on the laptop's HD.
