I'm not one for film photography. I'm into the digital aspects, but i think the dog photos would look very cool in college because the background was blending into the dog. either make it all color, or just the background color and dog stays the same.

the ocean one, i thought would work with color since you were going for a sunset look, water looks like it would have some vast detail in color.

is it possible to put film stuff in photoshop or do you think scanners have done enough.

i like the acorn photo. it was perfect. if cropped you wouldnt see the "dust" that people were talking about.

The "dust" wasn't the border, sir. It was the little particle you see on the right side, about half way up on the picture. Yeah, scanners can do weird things to pictures, it just seemed perfect size for a dust mark. Ugh one time in my photo class at school someone opened up the negative dryer while it was running and got dust over everyone's negatives. It was terrible, they were worthless after that.

You should mess around with filters, the stump one would be better with less contrast I think.

SUPER BUMP

I recently got a DSLR camera - the Nikon D50 =) and I've been out almost every day taking pictures and experimenting with it.

With my Nikon D50 I've been snapping things around my house - nothing too monumental.

I was debating whether or not to put this one up because everybody's mothers brothers sisters dads and pet whales take photos of flowers - so they aren't the best to show off. However, I really liked this photo, so here it is.

The black and white pictures were alright, in my opinion. I know I've seen better, but anyway, I really like the color ones. Good angles.. COLOR.. Yeah. Nice job. ^_^
