    Of course.

There aren't ANY OTHER SONGS with a number and then the world "miles" after it.

    Ever.

I guessed and got it right.

PS, I thought it was 5,000 miles?

Holy ****, Buckminster Fuller was an architect?! In retrospect, I really should have picked the right answer, but when going for speed, I felt it was more natural for an artist to be an architect than someone famous for his molecular chemistry discovery.

Well, I'll just assume this will be my 2nd victory in a row.

Sports: AFL Challenge: Australian Football League

5 Which team won their third premiership in a row in 2003?

            Essendon Bombers
            Melbourne Demons
            Brisbane Lions
            Collingwood Magpies

Do you guys see this as a fair question? I mean, I don't even keep up that well with the NFL, yet they expect me to know this about the Australians?

FFS, people, the point of trivia is that it's not something everyone is going to know. If you know a lot of trivia, you'll get a lot of these right. If not, you'll score lower. What is wrong with this?

MC, at least they asked a question regarding pop culture instead of, say, what is the chemical formula for the sixteenth-most common ingredient in Pantene Pro-V shampoo.

Even so, any question is fair in trivia.

Yeah... I haven't done this in days. Tass still hasn't switched to General Knowlege?

Even so, any question is fair in trivia.
Maybe if we all had the same questions and none of the questions were bogus (excellent example in Squeek's post above).

Pop culture =/= bogus. It was the first thing that both Tass and I thought of.

A nondescript question with multiple correct answers isn't bogus in your opinion?

Show me how any of the other answers would have worked.

It's not like they took a very famous song and made a question about the best-known lyric from that famous song or anything...

How many miles were sung about in a song?
The answer could be 500 miles or 1000 miles. Even if you disregard the second newer song, the answer could still be 500 or 1000 since the older song mentions both numbers.

It's not like they took a very famous song and made a question about the best-known lyric from that famous song or anything...
Which best known lyric? "I would walk 500 miles" or "Just to be the man that walks 1000 miles"?

And honestly, when I read the question I first thought of A Thousand Miles.

Guido, the question topic wasn't "Popular songs". It was "songs".

I have 40,000 songs on my computer. I know the word "miles" appears in maybe 50, followed by a number. In fact, I know of one Japanese song off the top of my head that mentions a number of miles that was part of the list of answers. In fact, it's the first word of the song! Surely they didn't think that NO OTHER SONG IN THE HISTORY OF THE UNIVERSE had a number of miles in it other than that one. Right?

Someone AIM Tass tonight and tell him to stop being lazy. If not, I can just start a new tournament or something.

Yeah, I got that one too. I had absolutely no idea what the right answer was either.

I really don't care if Tass switches the questions. Sure it would be nice, but I'm not going to b*tch about the questions I get. Maybe if I my professor was giving out some impossible question, but not for FFR Trivia. As Guido said, every question is legit here.

also, notice the "Here's an easy one." First of all, you don't have to tell us it's easy. Second of all, it's not one which would be easily guessed without looking at the answers. Third of all, it's just a waste of time when you're trying to get more speed. Stupid question writers.

I thought this was going to be actual trivia about FFR.

Like, what color was FFR's background in .43, or something like that.
