        When you take a test on the computer to see if you are a nerd.
        You cheat on the test so you can tell your AIM friends your not a nerd.

            I think "It's just a flesh wound!" would be more noticible, while still retaining it's nerdy movie qualities.

                    There is no possibility that knowing this is would be a nerd quality. It's the difference between being culturally average or a shut-in.

                        I think it's someone who accels at everything they do. No one likes nerds because they are the top of their class. Then the jocks get yelled at for not being top of their class and not acceling at everything except, penis size. And us nerds pwn the jock's 2.14 GPA with my personal 3.85 GPA.
