Don't need insurance for this situation. Apparantly, all the important stuff was stacked on a high shelf. The only things that are damaged are like... Lawn chairs and lamps.

Actually in sunny So-cal we're having the first big rain of the season and year.
And right before the Rose Bowl Parade too.

All we have in New Hampshire are hicks and snow.

And hick chicks. Those are are a whole catagory of natural disaster.
Sorry to hear about your septic situation. That's unbelievably nasty sounding.

RE: Re: RE: My Backyard is Flooded.

My family (we live in Socal) actually got tickets to the Rose Bowl Parade and we went. The parade was cool, although not as cool as it could have been, because a lot of the people in it couldn't perform. The bands' instruments were filled with water. This one guy we saw pulled his tuba apart and a ton of water spilled out of the tuba. Crazy. There was TORRENTIAL rain and flooding, and constant rain and wind once the parade started. We left about an hour and a half in because it was really miserable. They don't allow umbrellas in the grandstands.

Miserable. Everyone was in ponchos, so we must have looked ridiculous to everyone watching on TV, haha.

Anyway, today it's only partly cloudy, but yesterday was really really really rainy.

Spazz: That sucks. Hope your problem's cleared up soon, or has already been cleared up.

I was at the parade too psychic. I just left right before the
statue of liberty float came our wa. Which was pretty lame,
but the parade suck with all that rain.

Up here in Northern California, our house and our neighborhood also flooded. Not as bad as that as the water level was only knee high. I guess Oregon got the worst and the rest came down on California... Good luck with everything.
