I didn't know we had a much of a demand for a programming forum. How many of you program? In what?

Post what language(s) you program in, what are you learning, how long you have been, level of expertise on (1 to 10) scale, mabye some examples of your work, and whatever else you want.

I program in: Flash, PHP, Java, C++, C#, ASM (Z80 & learning x86). (HTML and CSS as well although that isnt programming).

I have switched from doing programming on a web perspective (Flash, PHP, etc) to doing C++ and ASM in the past year or so. Right now I am currently working on a 3D graphics wrapper class library for DirectX as well as handling 2D sprites. After that, I am going to work on a real time strategy game that will be 3D. I have also worked on (And still finishing up) a library of classes for C++ such as String, List, Dictionary, File, FileStream, and Vector2D and Vector3D. (List, Dictionary, and both vectors are template classes so they can be used in many settings).

EDIT: Oh yea, I forgot to say that the only reason I consider Java a 6 is because of C#... I took the AP CS A exam and got a 5... Never bothered to learn Java really.

I'm taking Java in school, but I can only do basic things like calculations at the moment :O.

I took java for two years, then taught it for a year. Maybe around a 6 or 7.

I took Pre-AP CompSci and a semester of Honors CSE 1341, so I didn't get very far past object-oriented programming, but I consider myself pretty proficient in anything below that. If it's your first or second year of C++ I can help out.

I'm also decently proficient in programming on the HP32SII calculator, but it'd be a miracle if any of y'all even had one of these, let alone had an interest in programming on it.

I'll be learning some kind of programming next semester though.

I used to know client-side Python, but I don't care about that so much. I was like a 0 or 1.

I am learning C++. I am less inept. The class I am in for it moves WAY too damn slowly for me, especially since I already know a fair amount of it.

I understood the concept of object oriented stuff pretty well from python, so it shouldn't be that hard, especially after learning C first

C++ - I've only been programming with C++ for about half a year, but I know quite a bit about it.
Visual Basic - Haven't programmed VB in ages, but back when I did (3-4 years ago), I pretty much learned everything in the "Learn Visual Basic Now" tutorial.
HTML - I know, not a programming language, but I'll throw it on anyway.
Java - I started learning this, but stopped once I started C++. I plan on learning it again because I have this massive book on it.

Is the syntax mostly the same? If it is then thats good, because I'll learn C++ faster.
