I have considered trying an energy drink before a long DDR session. I would have today but the arcade was sold out of Full Throttle, and I hear that's the best for energy. Bawls didn't really do much for me the last time I had one. But then again I wasn't doing anything really physically active.

Full Throttles are fucking sick. Rockstars would have to be my favorite, followed by Red Bull and Amp. I drink it for the taste as well. I probably like Rockstars the most because you get them in big cans, instead of small ones for the same price. The sad thing is, I've seen 8.2 ounce Amps for $2.19 and and 14 ounce Amps for $1.99 in the SAME DAMN STORE.Comment

So there was this one time I tried to drive from Oklahoma City to my parents' house on about 4 hours of sleep followed immediately by an intense practice. I stopped at just about every gas station along the way to buy an energy drink and a water and to just stretch out... and after the first stop I was pulling over to vomit energy drink.
Mmmm low sugar tolerance.
But seriously, consuming an energy drink before any kind of rigorous exercise is about the stupidest thing I've ever heard. The high sugar and caffeine content in those things dehydrates you, and then you add your level of exertion and the fact that you've consumed a pound of sugar immediately before a workout and you've got some rapid evacuation of stomach contents.Comment

It was my first time playing DDRMAX2. I was fairly good to begin with, I could pass most 9 footers, but my goal was to finally pass Max300. After a few tries, I could tell I wasn't feeling as energetic as I did when I first started playing. Ah! But that gift shop is selling Energy Drinks! So I buy a Red Bull, drink it, and set out playing again. "Oh man, I think I am going to vomit" I calmly said to my friend.
Well, long story short, I was done with playing DDR for the rest of the day.Comment

Vault is the good shit, man. I bought one the same place I bought a new electric airsoft gun. I had just finished drinking it when I decided to put some batteries in the airsoft gun. It took me a solid 5 minutes to put in four batteries.
I thought it was pretty fun. I wouldn't drink it before a giant sporting event, or even before DDRing or something (actually maybe I would), but I imagine it would be supremely awesome for SM. I'll probably try it sometime.Comment

I drank a Full Throttle beofore my brown belt testing, and My Instructor, Mr. Wilden still beat the piss out of me. Energy drinks don't taste really bad though, and thats' why I drank it. IIII dunno, I've never had to hurl when I do excercize-like stuff AND drink an energy drink.Comment

Well, supposedly it replenishes the stuff that your body loses during physical activities or something like that. Honestly, I dont care for the stuff. And I dont care for water either. Dirty ass water.Originally posted by ToshXI have trouble believing something artifically flavored is better than you for water. What is your proof(besides just saying it)?Comment
