Reading is good just before you go to sleep, calms me down after doing erends and stuff all day. But not if you choose a bad book.

At the moment i am trying to get through Stephen King's 'Needful things'... it is pretty bad. In fact not good at all, one of those books that just goes on for too long without getting to the point. Kinda wish it woul djust finish already, you know that there is going to be a really exciting twist at the end or something so you keep reading, but it is annoyingly slow.

Oh well, never heard of Ender's game either but if i see it somewhere i guess i'll have to read it now as everyone here says its pretty good.

      I had to read...

'Don't Go Home' by Janelle Taylor last year.

I thought it was a good book, because it's about a mystery of a killer and stuff...

But then i hit page 173.

      So i stopped reading it.

      (Where the sex parts started)

It's seems like a 30 year old star trek fan who still lives in his parents basement wrote about his dreams.
The irony of this is that Orson Scott Card hates Star Trek with a fiery passion.

all of you who said enders game wasn't good or that it was only ok should go kill yourselves.

best req'd reading of mine was probably cats cradle of catch 22.

Hope that happens to me. I've read Ender's Game and Ender's Shadow, so I can take a couple days off from homework.

                Best required reading? MacBeth/Canterbury Tales.

After we read MacBeth, we watched The Ring and wrote a paper on destructive ambition.

After we read Canterbury Tales (In Yy Olydy Iynglysh) we had to write an apology note to the sub who got hit in the eye with a super bouncy ball when our teacher was absent.

                  Best Req'd Reading...

Bless Me, Ultima for all Final Fantasy jokes I could do in a five minute time frame.

That and the story clicked with me. I cried.

All I'm asking is why hasn't this been turned into a movie yet?
Because they are too busy making retarded movies.

But really, if Enders Game was a movie, it would be up there with LOTR. Harry Potter, etc.

                        I've read the whole series.

I've never even heard of Ender's Game, but I did get to read a lot of decent literature in high school, though. Hoorah for Hamlet. =)
I encourage children to play with fire.
