I dont know about the whole penis being clean, though I do believe it is.

I think the fact that they call it a bodily "waste" made it hard to comprehend that it's actually really clean. However, it does say that bacteria get at it after it comes out, so it's not sterile afterwards. THAT leads me to believe the penis isn't as clean as people have said, since there is bound to be some urine on it that has bacteria all in and whatnot.

This reminds me of a show I watched about public bathrooms, and the piece of paper thing you put on the toilet that's supposed to help with sanitation. They took bacteria samples of peoples butts and their mouths. Overall the butt had barely and bacteria on it, but this one guy's mouth was dirtier than his butt.

Bacteria aid digestion. Not all bacteria are bad. For instance: you should have E. Coli in your intestines as you read this. It's a common bacteria that helps you digest.

Because there are more bacteria in your mouth, it could be more sanitary to put things in your mouth than up your butt. The bacteria would dissolve any unwanted substances and make them safer, in theory.

I always wash my hands after using the bathroom or after doing yard work/playing outside(like volleyball in my back yard). I don't cook, so I don't wash my hands before that, but I usually wash my hands before eating dinner because I usually am outside before eating.

I wash my hands almost every time after going to the bathroom. Sometimes if I'm in a hurry I won't (if I know they're clean).
