Ok, so I just wanted to say that I'm going to a Green Day concert and I'm excited. Thursday night w00t! Then the weekend down at college with my friend b/c I live at home and comute to mine. bleh. Awesome weekend!

Green Day has absolutely no talent, simplistic and cookie-cutter riffs that somehow requires five guitarists to play, horrible lyrics (with equally bad vocals to match), and a poser-riffic image that depicts them trying to simultaneously pander to four or five social classes at once in an attempt to boost sales as they are, truely, all about the money.

Everyone hated them so much when they came out.

Now they are the popular of the popular? I must say, I liked them a lot in the beginning when they started to go big. But now, they kinda have turned to crap. I live with 80's and 90's music. Dookie and Nimrod are the only Greenday albums I will stand to listen to. Definetly trying to get their sales up. Its to bad you won't get killed at their concert, any sort of mosh pit at a concert with that type of music, is like a day in the park.

Well, I think that Green Day's music is actually quite enjoyable to listen to(I love every kind of music...yesh, even polka...) but you're right about one thing...they do seem as though they're only in it for the cash. But what do I know? You're going to a Green Day concert! Poor people like me can't afford tickets, much less make it to wherever it is...
