AVG Saved my computer!

Well here's the story I built my computer so of course its a beast, 2 gigs of ram, 2 250gig harddrives, a pretty good motherboard and chip(they're better out damnit.) Here's the strength of my computer:

AVG Reported:

508 Virus's New Record!!!
and it took about 2 hours to scan everything.

But anyway my computer was running faster than my dad's brand new dell that's pretty good too. But anyways over the long period of time of not having internet protection, viruses just walked right in infecting files and stuff. You guys should have heard of it W2/Jeefo is an alias for it, it's really HiDrag.A... and it infected any .exe file on my computer and trust me I have lots....

Now that I have forgotten how fast my computer is I feel spoiled but anyways I was wondering has anyone got W2/Jeefo corrupting any files? Because that's what was killing me.

I hold the record for Viruses. My old KS monitor oand Gateway tower had OVER 2000 Viruses a year ago. Tell me how it was still running.

My computer is that fast, I spent a lot of money for my computer, BTW I'm going to be setting up a dual monitor set-up soon =D I'm going to hopefully buy a cheap good ATI graphics card of off ebay or something and get a monitor anywhere I'll must likely get a good one and I just might grab my dads Flat Screen monitor thats 19".... Hehh

I meant my old upgraded windows 95/XP computer. And thats a KDS monitor, sorry.

I accidenlty deleted SHLDDRV.VXD.
I thought it was a virus.
I had to go in Safe Mode for the longest time.
I tried waiting for the screen that says I deleted it and telling me to reinstall it. I pressed a button like it told me to. It took me to the same screen that I was just at, except without the "Press a button to continue".
I read it over and over again until it finally took me to my Windows Login screen.
Yay for me the computer wiz.
I have not been infected by HiDrag.A.

At the computer help company I work on and off for, we've had technicians run virus scans and find 20K+ viruses on systems before.

2000 is certainly not a record.

AVG is by far the best virus scaner out there.
