I just need that blue, dammit.

If you came over to my house you would faint....I've got so many Green, Blue, and Red lights everywhere. It's like "Whoa, you've got Green, Blue, and Red lights everywhere."

Ha ha...what is your house like a traffic light place or something.

Oh wait. There's no such thing as blue traffic lights. Hmm...this post wasn't very well thought out.

Well...there should be blue traffic lights.

There are in Japan....sort of. They call it blue, even though it is more green.

Tower, Printer, and Monitor: Green LEDs
          Modem: Green LEDs
          Speakers: Green LED
          Synthesizer: Green and Red LEDs
          Mouses: Blue and Red LEDs
          Amp: Red LED

And I have lights the go around the wall that are blue, so the whole room glows Blue.

          Oh.....god.....UGHH.... http://www.thinkgeek.com/computing/i...3f/images/157/

          OH SO MANY BLUE LIGHTS!!!!

You and your fancy whippersnapper Blue LED and Green LED....back in my day there were only five colours in life and by George that was good enough for us...then the sixties came along...damn hippies.

<Sigh>...back when my favourite color was clear. Wait, it still is.

Clear isnt a colour. Clear is the absence of colour.

Brainthingum is right. Clear means that all colors go through it, instead of any bieng absorbed in it, and no emission. If it were white, all colors would reflect off it, none absorbed or emitted.

                      ......No.

White is the reflection all colors, with the possible exception of Microwaves, Radio Waves, X-rays, Gamma rays, Ultraviolet, and Infrared (invisible light). With those included, it is still going to be white.

A black surface is a surface that absorbs all colors of visible light, and very little (or in technicality no) reflection, so we don't see anything.

Clear is the transmission of all colors: they just all go through.

If something is clear blue, all wavelengths are absorbed it EXCEPT those of blue, which are transmitted (they go through). So we see only blue in the clear object, not anything else.

Neither clear nor white is the absence of color. Black is.

Hmm....sounds subjective. I suppose you are right, because nothing is being reflected or absorbed....everything is transmitted.
