    I <3 drumline

    Seriously. I never knew how much I liked it untill now that it's almost over. We just went to out last competition, and I feel...like...sorta sad. This friday is probably the last time I'm going to pick up my drums for a long time. We practiced at 6:40 in the morning, every school day. 20 minutes before the band even got there. In spite of waking up early, having 2 hour long sectionals, and the Percussion Director getting on my nerves, I will actually miss drumline. I can't wait till next year to try out again and see incoming sophmores.

    I don't know exactly why I am going to miss drumline...I guess it was just more fun than I excpected.

      did you put powder on your drums so when you play it it makes smoke? and did you get in fights at competitions?

          I play trumpet. So much better. Drums were my very close second choice though.

              Guard for me. We always dated drummers though...

              And I understand your sadness... I'm too old to march with anyone local to me. So I choose to teach. Woot to teaching?

                                          That is why I tried playing multiple instruments, because that will always beat just one.
