I went to arizona to hang out with family on my father's side and when I came back, I found out that my hamsters had died

they were killed by my other hamster, who had killed them and ate them because no one fed them while I was away

You can train a dog to be amazingly obedient and not annoying at all, you can't train a cat. It's pretty much luck of the draw with cats, so... It depends on the dog or cat.
