    AMM

    Activity Monitoring Machine(AMM)
I dunno what they're really called so i just made up a name for them for future reference.

There should other games like DDR.
I know they have one for drums... which I think is awesome.

But they need one for the guitar, bass, singing(could be complicated), any number of different activities. It's just such an awesome way to learn, perfect, and practice. Imagine practicing the guitar or singing as vigorously as you do DDR?

A machine that would monitor an activity and grade you on it.

I think it's such an awesome way to learn and perfect an activity. It gives you a sense of rhythm far superior to the average human.

Just a spontaneous idea. If they've already tried/done this stuff, my apolagies for not knowing.
    =D

Well, there is a Guitar and Karaoke one, but they both suck, and there's the Eye Toy thingy...

I'd give you link, but you caught me in a lazy mood.

I see AMM and think my initials, but whatever...

I think video games of any type are great skill-building tools (some more that others, though), and I totally agree with you, Jam.

what would be awesome if it was an AMM for stupid, random stuff. like, grade your ability to poop or something. or something that could lead to you saying "WOW! I AAA'd Friends the other day on Watch Watch Revolution, the best TV-watching game ever!"

and, for the record, DDR doesnt exactly improve your dancing ability...
So I've gone completely slack-ass and haven't done any work on creating games. =(

In less-depressing news, I got a job for an online business (which sells non-electronic games, of all things!) which has taught me a lot about marketing online and all that jazz.

So now I'm on Twitter @NoahWright.
And I write the blog for their website.

Plus I do cool programming in-house that you'll never see. =O

If you play DDR with style and mean it... just take the pad away and you're dancing...

the people who freestyle are usually, if i'm not mistaken, already fairly good dancers. DDR cant teach u how to be a good dancer, but it does improve eye foot coordination which might make learning how to dance easier.

I found one called Techno Groove, it was DDR and Pump It Up mixed. It was weird. You could choose 4-6 arrows to play with. It was something random in a bowling alley arcade.
                        Yay MySpace

I was at a... game center, forgot the name. But you would kick and punch for real and your character would do what you did on a screen. This was a two player game and you could fight someone. Karate training?
