Used to look up to aCiiiii, Dynam0 and Samt0rx, now noone, maybe still Dynam0 and LongGone, most of the existing community today lacks the true spirit sadly.

When I first began playing, I looked up to people like Reach and Nima; around the start of ODI, Reach ended up being inactive and Nima...well yeah rofl

At or just before that point (~mid 2006) I really looked up to Shash and Bahamut for there insane FFR skill, I actually took the game up at that point and tried to keep up with them (key word 'tried' lol). There were other awesome newer players like GLoVE, Blade^, Zaghurim, NukeShadow, Dazzled, etc. who were all in a very close rivalry for a bit in SM and it was really motivating to have competition like that.

During 2007 about time when I quit for a while, I was inspired by Thaor and possibly WookE though I was extremely reluctant to warm up to him just pooping all over every jacking file ever that was whored to death in a matter of weeks

When I began playing again I was amazed at how good the norm was. I was awe-struck by leonid, Dossar, Mina, Staiain, Isaac, samurai, midare, AlexDest, etc. the bar had been raised so high!

Nowadays I get inspiration from Staiain, Isaac, and Eze for the most part. I really miss having midare/Alex posting scores cuz it motivated me to work on my MA xD

I probably missed some ppl in there, sorry if I did lol

MrRubix made me realize that most of the FFR songs were actually AAA'able

I guess I've been looking up to midare and now I'm known for my signature accuracy as a true MA player

This, and his Reality AA. I wanted to obtain the same score one day. I think I saw the vid in 2005 or 2006.
I remember feeling awesome getting an AA on Quasar 1.0. Good times.



That feeling when I still haven't reached that goal. I have SDG'd Quasar 1.5 at this point though.

after i realized he probably wasnt coming back i pretty much forgot about him

gundam-dude, roar, kommi and the rest of the LCs and xoon guys were probably my guiding lights from 2009+ in terms of inspiring my stepping style and making me want to play more and get better so i could play their files lol

I looked up to quite a few people when I was playing a lot - AJ (TC_Halogen) mostly.

Which reminds me, I need a new keyboard already so I can play again. >_>
