Although I'm not posting in a ton of these threads, I'm reading most of them since I'm genuinely interested in them. The front page has a lot of these on it, sure, but the active relevant threads that people usually go to are there as well (brag board and gen talk threads mainly). This would be no different from someone going and playing in a bunch of game threads, making them float to the top of the recent threads on the front page.
For me, on a usual day I see 2-3 threads that might be worth clicking on in the recent threads list. Today it's a bunch of new content (AMAs) that I'm actually interested in, so the argument that worthy threads are getting bumped off the list is mega subjective since threads that you might deem important and worthy of staying at the top might differ from what I think is entertaining and worthy of staying at the top.
Overall, it's a fad that will last 3 days tops, so quit getting your jimmies rustled and deal with it for a bit.
