Colorado is on fire :(

There are several fires in across colorado right now. The biggest is the High Park fire at 136 square miles.

Here is a picture of the waldo canyon fire which is unfortunately near many suburbs.


Again there are many more fires. Please pray for colorado.

I actually live near the High Park fire, and the smoke here in Colorado has been horrible. On some days it's been thick enough that you can't see beyond 10 yards. Luckily, our fire is about 65% contained now, which is monumentally better than it was a week ago. My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone in Colorado Springs in the Waldo Canyon fire though, since that one is the most aggressive fire going on right now.

Well, I live there. And it's pretty bad, things picked up a lot recently. Light rain, but that didn't make a huge difference. A little over 30,000 people on mandatory evac, with more under voluntary. I'm far enough out to not have an issue yet, but good god is there a lot of smoke. Actually getting ash out where I am as well. The wind has been a huge issue. Crazy shit, that's for sure. I feel really bad for the housing divisions that have already burned down.



I live out where I circled, evac areas are far larger than the red.


Edit: Waldo canyon fire is at about 30% containment for anyone that even cares to know
