Well, we have a MW3 thread, so this needs one.

Is anyone else excited for the "underdog" of the FPS war?

I've played some of the Single player and Multiplayer and, as much as I love CoD and am excited for it, this is getting more of my play time, easily. I kinda quit BF2 half way through the year, but I can see I won't be doing that with this one.

I have no doubts it'll all be fixed soon but, it's still funny that the beta is way less stable than the alpha. It's still fantastic, though. The destruction is neat.

Have you played any of the previous betas? They've all been glitchy.

Aside from slight glitches, I'm loving the gameplay.

It doesn't seem as nice as BFBC2 for some reason. A little dissapointed but I'll still get it.

The point of a Beta is so they can fix the bugs and glitches.
I've downloaded it but haven't played it yet. Not a big BF fan though.

The Beta is in the Xbox Live Marketplace if you have a 360.

I like the game play, so far.

But i'm not really one to go for only 1 genre. I generally play all games like they are equals.

Im a little upset about a few things like the way the map looks and more but it is a beta so I cant judge anything yet.

I like the tactical gameplay of BF3, but sometimes its a little too unbalanced, like some areas (3rd area of the Rush map) if you don't get a foothold on that second floor your guys basically get wasted.

HEEEEEECK of a lot of fun though, there were a couple times where I accidently glitched myself through a door by assassinating a guy just weird stuff. But I'll be buying it.

I'm getting it. After hearing about the premium crap for MW3 I said I'd never buy CoD again.
Have the beta, haven't played it yet though. Already preordered the game.

meh the beta was a disappointment for me. And everyone's getting their hopes up that they're going to fix everything before the official release. Well, usually they don't release a beta 30 days before the release date, so I'm very confident that you're not going to see a lot of improvement in the official release. I stopped playing when I realized I was being killed only by the douchebags hiding inside the bushes. I fall through the map if I'm crouching, there is no mute button for the annoying 12 year olds, Matchmaking is poor. There is no party lobby, you cannot back out, and no graphics improvement. the prone thing, are you kidding me?

I'm actually a BF fan but I'm very disappointed with the beta, they better fix all these stuff. w/e I'm buying both MW3 and BF3 anyways.
