meh the beta was a disappointment for me. And everyone's getting their hopes up that they're going to fix everything before the official release. Well, usually they don't release a beta 30 days before the release date, so I'm very confident that you're not going to see a lot of improvement in the official release. I stopped playing when I realized I was being killed only by the douchebags hiding inside the bushes. I fall through the map if I'm crouching, there is no mute button for the annoying 12 year olds, Matchmaking is poor. There is no party lobby, you cannot back out, and no graphics improvement. the prone thing, are you kidding me?

Pretty much all this. I played the beta for like 20min. and got bored as hell.

Beta runs smooth as hell for me on PS3, I've personally experienced no bugs or glitches so far.

Gutted, yet knew the Metro map would be the Beta map because I played it weeks ago. Beta does get tedious after a few matches, alas, I'm still so excited for this game.

I'm actually a BF fan but I'm very disappointed with the beta, they better fix all these stuff. w/e I'm buying both MW3 and BF3 anyways.

Most of your concerns will likely be addressed for retail, especially matchmaking. idk why you expected matchmaking of all things to be competent in any way during the beta before people have the chance to establish some stats but w/e. Falling through the floor is fixed, I believe the com center functions as a party lobby, and you can't back out of a lobby because there is no game lobby to back out of.

I for one am enjoying the shit out of the Beta.
I do hate the people that play assault and don't revive anyone though. I mean all I really do as assault is revive people anymore.
I also enjoy sniping in this game like I'd die if I couldn't do it. The snipers are soooooo fun.

Beta was kind of a let down but sniping was a big improvement imo.

I guess I won't be getting BF3. I had it preordered, but just had to cancel that because I'm the only person in the damn world still running XP. BF3 I guess is only compatible with Vista and 7. Lame.

I really enjoyed the beta I'm definitely going to be picking this game up I just wish I had a computer that could run it on ultra :S.

Wasn't going to buy it over EA's ToS but now that I've read it for myself the people crying about it seem kinda retarded. Buying this November 11th when it comes out in Canader T_T

Pretty good shit so far. I don't have a huge opinion of the multiplayer simply because I haven't played it enough. As far as the campaign goes, which I spent most of my time on today (aside from school), it was pretty good. I'm a little disappointed in the BLOPS style campaign (I won't ruin it entirely. You'll see and I think agree or at least see where I'm coming from). I haven't finished it, but so far it's pretty sweet. I just need to get a hang of the controls again and hard mode should be pretty easy.

So far I like BF3 except for the fact that I cant connect to the servers for any kind of online play at all. I always get disconnected in the middle of a MP match or coop campaign and so one of my friends and I are a little pissed not being able to play with each other. So I guess playing the solo campaign will have to do for now.

I see what you mean by a BLOPS style campaign. That is exactly what I got into the campaign and told my friend.
