I was told Starmie a couple times by peers at my school that are into Pokemon. I'm gonna go with that, thanks lol

      Re: Arrowsmash City Pokémon League

I play pokemon also but I have no Wi-Fi. I have loads of general information about it since I have been playing it for about 10 years or so. I know about the 4th Gen and below not so much the 5th Gen. The reason for this is because I play White on an Emulator and it is Japanese. I don't battle competitively nor do I make a big deal about it either. I will be happy to assist anyone with general information or problems they may have. I have the following games:
      Pokemon Blue and Red
      Pokemon Gold
Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire(Maybe Emerald if I can find it somewhere)
      Pokemon Diamond
      Pokemon Heart Gold
      Pokemon Colosseum and XD
      Pokemon Battle Revolution

I haven't played my 4th gen games in a while so I can't really tell you my FC sorry.

So. I am missing only ONE non-legendary Pokémon from any generation, but I'll probably need help from someone here.
Does anyone have a Glameow they want to trade for anything?

EDIT: I lied. It's 2 (4, technically, but Glameow becomes Purugly, and I'm working on Hydreigon). I also need a Munchlax.

            Nice 2000th post there. =P
And unless someone wants to trade me legendaries, probably won't happen any time soon. XD

Lol for Regular Singles I just used an Excadrill (Adamant, perfect Atk and Spe IVs, 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe) with Swords Dance/EQ/Rock Slide/Return and it basically took out everything. Then used my random Unfezant and Krookodile and Regular Singles got dominated. I need to come up with a team for Super Singles though. Timid Starmie with maxed SpA and Spe and Tbolt/Surf/Ice Beam/Recover (aw yea original gen1 sweeper set) was working well (I think Hydro Pump is a better option than Surf, as it would net important OHKOs that Surf didn't, and I regretted it after) but still need 2 more pokemon.

That's my main problem: I have no patience for EVing in-game. If I did, I'd probably have beaten that Salon Bitch Anabel by now. I don't even know how to soft-reset for good natures, and this is stuff people just expect you to know how to do on most competitive sites. D:

Same here I have no patience and when I do I mess it up pretty quick. Soft-resetting I can handle for shinies and Natures, but not IV's. According to some pokemon sites 85% of people who battle competitively uses a cheating device. So I wouldn't get frustrated.

Soft Resetting for natures for wild pokemon is, in my opinion, a waste of time.
I would do on pokemon that are stationary like Rayquaza or Kyogre.
Good natures for Rayquaza, in my opinion, are Adamant, Modest, Jolly, or Timid.
It really depends on what you want Rayquaza to be strong in.

                    Re: Arrowsmash City Pokémon League

I have lucked out in the past with legendaries before, as in the case of the Sassy Azelf with perfect HP. Last night, a mixed blessing struck me.

I think it was my third try, but I actually caught a MODEST Volcarona in the Relic Castle. Problem is, I ran the IVs on Metalkid, and wound up with a line of 20/1/16/12/15/0. Doing the math on those will reveal HP Fire, BP 50. A close friend of mine says that I'm too picky, though, so I'm going to keep this one. I mean, come on, non-RNGed Modest.

Anyone here can be kind enough to lend or trade me a Power Weight?

I already have the Power Bracer, Band, Lens, Belt and I'm tired of the Battle subway >.<

I only need to finish EV-training my Vaporeon's HP cause its just annoying that even with pokerus and macho brace I have to kill 62 Duckletts, comparing it to 24 when using the power weight.

                          Re: Arrowsmash City Pokémon League

Bump with a team I quickly just thought up. Nowhere near good at all, just started using it on Pokemon-Online in the Smogon server, doing okay I suppose. I'm gonna be tweaking this as much as possible to become my team for white.

I started this team with my sweepers (garchomp and thundurus) then kinda just figured it out from there. Oh and I make them female for the stupid random people who like to use Attract lmfao. Suggestions would be awesome btw.

                          Garchomp (F) @ Yache Berry

                          Trait: Sand Veil
                          EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
                          Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
                          - Swords Dance
                          - Outrage
                          - Earthquake
                          - Fire Fang
Physical Sweeper, badass as fuc. After getting rid of Lati@s, he's able to set up and sweep fairly easily. Gonna have to change when he becomes ubers, though.

                          Thundurus (M) @ Life Orb
                          Trait: Prankster
                          EVs: 4 Def / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
                          Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
                          - Nasty Plot
                          - Thunderbolt
                          - Hidden Power [Ice]
                          - Focus Blast
Special Sweeper. Thought about who a nice special sweeper could be, this guy came to mind. He's pretty cool, and once he sets up, he can pull off some nice sweeps. With Prankster giving Nasty Plot priority, it's hot. Then the high speed stat and high SpA stat make this a really dangerous mon to deal with if you don't have a solid counter.

                          Skarmory (F) @ Shed Shell
                          Trait: Keen Eye
                          EVs: 252 HP / 232 Def / 24 Spd
                          Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
                          - Roost
                          - Spikes
                          - Whirlwind
                          - Taunt
Physical Wall + spikes + phaser. I had a bunch of trouble with people setting up before, so I really needed a phaser. Usually I can get 3 sets of spikes + rocks up as well so the damage is cool too. Taunt over Brave Bird cause honestly I can bring this guy in on support pokemon, taunt, set up spikes, whirlwind, yay. Don't really need Brave Bird anyway.

                          Tyranitar (F) @ Leftovers
                          Trait: Sand Stream
                          EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 SDef
                          Careful Nature (+SDef, -SAtk)
                          - Stealth Rock
                          - Pursuit
                          - Crunch
                          - Superpower
The idea behind this guy was to have rocks + pursuit to eliminate opposing Lati@s who would otherwise outspeed Garchomp and ruin his sweep. Gets up rocks but other than that doesn't do much. Slightly a special wall with the SpD boost from sandstorm. Probably needs to be replaced. Would be replaced with a pokemon who can set up rocks. I also like the weather cause I don't really like battling other weather teams so controlling weather is nice too but whatever.

                          Reuniclus (F) @ Leftovers

                          Trait: Magic Guard
                          EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SDef
                          Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
                          - Calm Mind
                          - Recover
                          - Psychic
                          - Focus Blast
Gets rid of Conkeldurr/Lucario who would annoy Cloyster. Pretty much that's it I guess.

                          Cloyster (F) @ Life Orb
                          Trait: Skill Link
                          EVs: 48 HP / 252 Atk / 208 Spd
                          Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
                          - Shell Smash
                          - Icicle Spear
                          - Rock Blast
                          - Razor Shell
Holy shit once this guy sets up he can wreck through so much omfg. I love him, I love him, he has to stay. Might change to Jolly and White Herb is an option for item as well, but anyway he's sexy.

Hmm, thinking of Metagross to replace TTar. He's probably one of my favourites anyway. Always used a Metagross lead last gen. Might as well do it this gen.

That Chomp set is the one that got him kicked upstairs last gen. Not sure if it will have the same result this time around with all the new physical sweepers, but I imagine it's still plenty potent. Might want to consider Dragon Claw over Outrage if you find yourself sending him out early.

Thundurus is going to get b& to Uber, you watch. After usurping many of the roles Zapdos held down to the point that the proud thunderbird finally fell to UU, Prankster actually makes him more annoying as a status spreader with Thunder Wave.

Skarmory needs that Brave Bird. The way you have him now, he's total Taunt bait. Noticed you moved a few EVs from defense to speed from his flagship DPP build, as well.

Tyranitar is a top-10 threat if the usage stats are any indication, but I imagine people are starting to find new ways to beat it such as Drizzletoed. Yes, weather wars have finally arrived in standard play, but he synergizes well with Garchomp by setting up sand and taking hits he can't.

Reuniclus is another Pokemon seeing a lot of use. His stat spread is perfect for a TR special sweeper, good coverage in his two attacking moves. Magic Guard allows for not only immunity to your own sand, but also allows for all sorts of status-related shenanigans. A modest example would be holding a Flame Orb and using Psycho Shift.

Cloyster suddenly became bad-ass with that Shell Smash + Icicle Spear combo this gen. Most of the big Substitute abusers running around these days are weak to Ice. Gliscor, Whimsicott and even Thundurus come to mind.

The main thing you'll want to look out for on this squad is Excadrill, who can use your own sand against you with Sand Rush and rip most of your team a new one, not to mention he can also employ Rapid Spin to whisk away your hazards even if he falls victim to a Taunt. He'll be hard pressed to kill your Skarmory, though, because your Roost will go off after he attacks. Since he's capable of hitting over 600 speed in the sand, you'll need a priority attacker to decisively best him, preferably one with Mach Punch.

We should have a battle sometime, bro. I go by Unbreakable around those parts.

                              Absolutely dude.
The Garchomp set is working fine, I was just like "w/e sweep through everything fairly easily" and I have been, so that's okay. He's gonna be ubers anyway so I was thinking Scizor cause there's a bunch of rain teams anyway, and in sand he's fine as well. And easily the best Reuniclus counter, and with them being all over the place, can't hurt. And Scizor is always nice to have, Tech BP is hot.
I also am I huge fan of Magnezone, used him a bunch last gen. Scizor will be around as much as ever, so he could be useful as well.
Conk will be nice for Excadrill, and you're absolutely right, I missed a focus blast (of course) and he swept my entire team -_-

I have tons of work cut out for me if I want to make a good team lmfao
Brb looking at usage stats and coming up with good counters =D

EDIT: Actually what do you think of Dream World Breloom cause it gets Technician, and tech mach punch would be sweet.
EDIT AGAIN: I don't think it's even been released yet -_-

Tech Mach Punch is going to be even more incredible than Scizor for one reason: Fighting has better coverage than Steel. Totally looking forward to that.
