Re: Marvel vs Capcom 3
You unlock titles by completing various "events" in the game. Events include beating Arcade mode with a deteriorating healthbar, getting 5 wins in a row on Live, etc.
As far as I can tell, you only get titles for completing them and there aren't even that many to begin with (although you do unlock more). Its just there to add the extra challengeComment

Re: Marvel vs Capcom 3
yup, but you can only do one event at a time like say, win 5 in a row, you do that and turn it in but go for 7 next. well, got to start over to get 7 after beginning event and as of now I only see 17 out of 50 (i think) available.
Event mode under Shadow Mode online just so ya knowComment

Re: Marvel vs Capcom 3
I like how marvel 2 (btw does anyone still play that online, i'd like to get games in with people.) can have a spectator mode, but marvel 3 can't. Good one, capcom.Originally posted by KgZnext time instead of trying to talk to the girl acting like a sketchball just whip your dick and stick it in her mouth; dont even say anythingComment

Re: Marvel vs Capcom 3
There no spectator mode cause since there so much memory of each char and that the graphics would cause laggy matches and laggy watching them so they choose not to put it in. Which is fine if they add more chars to keep players happy for the lack of spec mode or maybe replay mode.Comment

The brokenness of Sentinel is the reason why I vowed never to play with him. Ever.Comment

Re: Marvel vs Capcom 3
Gawd, you guys see one video of someone who knows his Sentinel rushdown against a player who clearly hasn't worked on their defense and he's still called "broke". That said, it's sort of funny to see that the opponent lost because of exactly 4 stupid mistakes:
~Opening with air Tenderizer, which is a terrible attack outside of combos or as an assist
~Raw tag into Taskmaster that was entirely pointless
~Getting hit by a launcher that could easily have been blocked
~Getting hit by an overhead that could easily have been blocked
We should all know by now that good Sentinels get off from scoring huge damage from their opponent's mistakes or misjudgments in how to defend themselves, i.e. the ideal goal of rush down and pressure. And with that sort of damage output, he ought to be played in the opponent's face since that's where he's obviously strongest. His defense and zoning games do not compare.Comment

Re: Marvel vs Capcom 3
Nah he was broken from the beginning, from the start of when I played this game (never played MvC2 enough to know him).Comment

Re: Marvel vs Capcom 3
I honestly think what "broke/breaks" him was/is his former health level and beginner friendliness.
-He was allowed him more second chances to get his offense going again than any other character, but his health bar is now much more like that of the other very aggressive characters with at least average mobility, so it's difficult for me to feel like he comes close to the worth of two characters now.
-High damage still seems to take fewer button, presses than almost every other character which will make him attractive to new players playing other beginners who can't possibly know the matchup.
Also, you of all people should be able to let rip on Sent if you main Ammy. Don't, like, half of his moves whiff if you just stand still?Comment

Re: Marvel vs Capcom 3
Probably, except Ammy has low as hell health, and Sent can actually attack and block right after with his super armor if I try to do Okami Shuffle as a punish.I honestly think what "broke/breaks" him was/is his former health level and beginner friendliness.

Re: Marvel vs Capcom 3
Yup lol I've seen it so I'm glad I've been maining Spencer but never thought off doing what Combo did with Spencer. Been training it but still am sloppy, same with She-Hulk. I can't seem to combo to the ground then Crouch stance, run and slide to continue a combo >,.,<
Don't do Okami Shuffle lol, just switch to her beads and spray Sentinel with freeze beadsComment
