Is anyone on here a 1st lord? I'm trying to finish up the achievements on MvC3 before UMvC3 comes out in November. I have practically all of them (42 of 47, technically 4 left since the 5th needs you to get all other achievements) and if someone is a 1st lord mind getting the other two with me too? They require you to verse a special character while you use a certain character.. I think it's Spiderman and Captain America (?) and the other one is MODOK and Sent. I'd look it up before we fought. I'll get full roster through player matches

Vergil is a heavily modified version of Dante, minus the style-cancelling.

Still pretty cool though, at least he isn't completely like the Ken version of Dante, more like the Akuma :V

My little story:

Buddy and I were so psyched for MvC3. Both of us preordered it and were excited as shit when it came out. We bought a quarter of the good stuff and were ready to play...but then when we did play HOLYYYYY SHIT. Spent maybe a half hour playing then went back to MvC2, which is superior in EVERY way.

Both of us went and returned our games after we got most of the achievements...then we bought more pot.

Most disappointing game ever =/

I prefer mvc3 over Mvc2 anyday. But I started playing this game a little more serious with mvc3, so maybe (probably) I'm being a little biased. For me mvc2, its just like so old, the graphics are meh and the metagame only revolves around sentinel/storm/cable/magneto when you have a cast of over 50 characters.

You returned it once they patched up the game to get rid of A LOT of Sent spammers and other cheap tactics.

Sent spammers still exist, but are very scarce now due to their very low healths.

I'm probably going to get Ultimate as soon as possible, just because. I've extracted much pain and pleasure from the original, and will surely get plenty more of the same, what with all the new characters and rebalancing and whatever. I'm pretty hype for the Ryu changes.

I roll with Wesker (my meter builder), Zero (meter user/builder), and Tron (X-Factorin' meter usin' bitch)

My team is literally team Daigo. Wolvie, Dante, and Akuma, though I usually roll with Wolvie instead of Dante first :V
