Hellgate London is actually pretty fun. I still have it.

If you can run Flight Sim 10 on full graphics and it shows as full graphics without lag I will be impressed.

How much did that rig cost you? And do you know how much the electricity to run it it'll run you? I'd love to get a machine like that. I know you built it, but parts and everything.

Hell, if I can sell my novel and become ultra rich I should just pay you to make me that one.

                ..

And preload all the SNES/NES/N64 games on it.

                  Re: Challenge Rubix's Computer

The rig itself cost a bit over $2000, but only because I didn't have a monitor. For a graphics card like the one I've got, you absolutely need a big monitor to justify it -- otherwise you're really bottlenecking its potential.

Not sure about the electricity, but I can tell you that it uses an 850W power supply.

Computers no longer run up an electricity bill like a mother****er.

PSU's are just so much more efficient than they were ten years ago.

His is not the average computer. My PS3 can trip one of my circuit breakers.

I had a post with a bit of research on it, but I deleted it because I honestly don't know **** about how the electrical requirements of a PC work.

However, the PS3 uses a 380W PSU and eats about 200W under load.

This thing eats 150W under load, assuming the reading from Core Temp is what I am after, here.

Maybe your processor alone. That sounds too small to be the whole computer under load.

running 3Dmark and taking the power readings during it's torture test might be better. Dunno how to take power readings, though.

I need a slimline. It runs around 175-200W under load, from what I hear. It'd also not make my room hot.

Yes the processor eats 150W, Giggles. Not sure what the whole thing is nommin.

                                PS:

I am currently getting every Tomb Raider game to date. Need more game suggestions.

Going to sleep now -- head is killing me.
