I'm probably alone on this one, but Phantasy Star Online Episode I and II (for Gamecube). On my main account, I have close to 500 hours into it (my previous one had about 200 hours before my save got corrupted).
Another game I'm addicted to is Unreal Tournament 2004

nope i had 3000 hours completely offline on a level 152 ranger.
Kind of a cross between running, Mario Kart, and classic childhood tales. It's free to play but the item mall is pretty huge. Interesting concept, and I usually play on the 30-person racetracks. Gets hectic with items and death tracks.

Damn, that's a lot lol. I stopped bothering leveling up and just spent time finding rares. Yeah, I got all of mine offline too. It's so fun playing 4-player co-op (that is, until everyone sees that shiny red box and the **** hits the fan over who gets it).
Disgaea Hour of Darkness and Afternoon of Darkness (PS2 and PSP/DS port respectively) are addictive.
With Disgaea 1, I have a combined 400+ hours, more than any other game (second and third most are Makai Kingdom, also a NIS game, and the .hack quadrilogy, which doesn't really count, since it is spread over 4 volumes)....
Any NIS S-RPG is pretty addictive, but nothing beats the first Disgaea.
This game is CRAZY. Fifty levels down, and then all the way back up followed by powerful wizard ever trying to kill you. You can't load save games if you die, and I haven't even beaten the game on explore mode, where you can REVIVE YOURSELF after death (I've tried about six times). This game ROCKS.
There are a few patches which give it graphics (that is, not just ASCII characters), but I'm not sure where to get them, because I think my Father installed them for me.
